This trip includes a free drink and a shuttle ride back to Nuts Outdoors.
Experience the ultimate afternoon getaway with our Council Hill Station E-Bike Tour. Depart Nuts Outdoors in Galena, IL at 1:00 PM and set out on a beautiful, scenic ride down Galena’s rolling country roads to the historic Council Hill Station. The ride is approximately 12.5 miles long—a leisurely 1.5-hour pedal where our electric bikes do all the heavy lifting, making the hills a breeze.
Once you arrive, enjoy a cold beer (included in your trip!) and soak in the rustic atmosphere. If you’re riding on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, you’ll also be treated to live music! We will pick you up and shuttle you back to Nuts Outdoors between 4:00 PM and 4:15 PM. Alternatively, if you’d like to stay longer, we can simply pick up your bikes at 4:00 PM and you can arrange your own ride back to town.
For groups larger than 4, we may be able to accommodate custom dates/times. Please text 815-238-0023 for group inquiries.

About Council Hill Station: Dating back to the 1850s, Council Hill Station was originally a general store and railway station serving the bustling lead mining boomtowns of the Driftless Area. Today, it stands as a unique, rustic ruin and gathering place, complete with historic stone structures, a silo, and a sprawling outdoor property that feels like stepping back in time.
