All equipment rentals start at our shop. Please come to our store to sign waivers and then you will walk down to the dock and our staff will launch you from the kayaks we have stored at the dock. Our 2-hour kayak rental is a free paddle up and down the Galena River. We recommend that you start by going East against the current and you’ll have a nice float back to the dock. The river goes through historic downtown Galena and is slow-moving near the launch.
You will meet at our store to pick up life vests, and paddles, and our boats are just a block and 1/2 away at the dock. There is plenty of parking available 99% of the time in the parking lot across from our shop.
